Keep Your Focus
Poet: Catherine Pulsifer

Keep your focus on the good and let the petty issues of life go by.

 WORLDVIEW CONFLICTS IN 2022

Worldview Conflicts in 2022 Conflicting Worldviews are the primary reason for unrest, rebellion, and wars in the world. Worldview preference, presumptions, illusions, and choice are always present in human psychology and demonstrated in society with life values, relationships, education, beliefs, ethics,  religion, endeavors, and Nationalism.

Most often, individual people may not be conscious of their Worldview in detail or how different it may be from other people in their society or other people’s and Nation society. Conclusion: there are International events that draw people together from all over the world, whether around government, religion, sports, natural disasters, Media events, or some cultural festival event.

Worldview is often absorbed through national identity and hidden behind decades of family values, from parents, relationships in society. People are generally ushered in, conformed, and molded into a society with a national identity and a culturally learned Worldview. The spirit of Nationalism often overrides the details of specific ethics and moral values. Nationalism can override ethics and moral values if the spirit of Nationalism is lifted up blindly with zeal as a higher value.

The national historical narrative is often the motivator to compel people into a nationalistic Worldview. However, suppose a Worldview has a moral and ethical framework that Nationalism must abide by inside. In that case, it can be a good and positive power that keeps the people united with a common purpose.

World Wars Over Subjective Worldview Conflicts

Historical interpretation of World War One and World War Two. National biases and government leaders’ corruption have manipulated history’s facts away from Truth. Victor’s justice is a mechanism that government leaders have used to manipulate history’s facts to suit their political and economic agendas.

From Moses’s times on mount Sinai 3460 years ago, the Holy Scriptures are explicit and present and define what is acceptable and prohibited by the Creator of Life on Earth.

Holy God does not tolerate hardcore atheism in government leaders who are the false prophets of society. The prophet saw and felt the same confusion in his society. So he explicitly spoke out what the mind and the Word of the Lord were regarding what is morally right and what is Morally Wrong.

Isaiah 5: 18-24.

“Woe to those who begin by pulling at transgression with a thread, but end by dragging sin along as if with a cart rope. They say, “We want God to speed up his work, to hurry it along, so we can see it!

We want the Holy One of Isra’el’s plan to come true right now, so we can be sure of it!” Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter! Woe to those seeing themselves as wise, esteeming themselves as clever.

Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine, men whose power goes to mixing strong drinks, who acquit the guilty for bribes but deny justice to the righteous!

Therefore, as fire licks up the stubble, and the chaff is consumed in the flame; so their root will rot, and their flowers scatter like dust; because they have rejected the Torah of Adonai-Tzva’ot, they have despised the word of the Holy One of Isra’el.” ……………………………

Isaiah 5: 18-24.

precisely what Isaiah warned the people of Israel against.

It is exactly what the Bolshevik leaders committed in Russia 1900-1922.
Creating the Soviet Union State Atheism.

They violated every God-given principle in the most potent blatant ways, torturing, imprisoning, and murdering millions of God’s people. It did not stop with the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.

Russian leaders have the same spirit of the Soviet Union State Atheism, with Joseph Stalin Communism Worldview’s principles, as the driving force of Russian Nationalism. They do not recognize the Spirit of the Holy God or the instructions and commands given with the Oracles of God in the Torah. In fact, the Soviet Union leaders were the enemies of God in every way imaginable.   Expansion of False Worldview Information Whether a cause is good and has merit, people get together and share their circumstances, life experiences, hopes, and ideas.   Leaders also share, market, and promote their ideas, products, and services or a particular Worldview.

Usually either a liberal or a conservative Worldview. A Liberal Worldview is usually without an ideology and fewer rules and constraints for moral behavior. Conservative Worldview most often has a Worldview, with rules and constraints for morally right behavior.

Leaders quickly whip up populist movements by promising people more money, freedom, rights, or civil action in society. Politicians in history have been the most destructive and have done the most damage to Humanity, causing millions of deaths. Why are the politicians?   Because they can get a grip on an Entire nation and use the financial and military resources of a Nation to do war. Political leaders can manipulate the spirit of Nationalism to convince the people that a False Worldview is a True Worldview, according to the manipulated spirit of Nationalism.

That is precisely what Joseph Stalin managed to do in Russia. Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, and the Bolsheviks duped the Russian people into believing in erroneous ideology and a false Worldview.   The only preventative blockage between the Bolshevik’s State Atheism and Russia’s people was the Jewish Holy Scriptures Bible. Therefore, the Bolsheviks had to create violence against the established religious structures, Churches, religious leaders, and believers. Soviet Union State atheism led by Joseph Stalin wiped out religious services and congregations in Russia.

Why did they wipe out religion? Because the God-given Jewish Holy Scripture True Worldview stood in the way of the Bolshevik’s rebellion and Anarchy.   Can you now begin to understand how a False Worldview is in conflict with a True Worldview?     A True Worldview is in line with the revealed Truth of the Holy scriptures.

What if someone refuses to believe in the revealed God-given True Worldview? Then the person refuses to believe God at His word. There may be several reasons why someone refuses to believe in Truth.       The possibility that the person has been brainwashed into believing a lie cannot recognize truth over error. This is another reason why the Soviet Union blew up and demolished church buildings, burnt bibles, and forbid the distribution and publication of bibles in the Soviet Union.

The Soviet leaders wanted people’s minds and spirits in the Satanic darkness.   God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has used the written word to bring people out of darkness into light for the last 4000 years. God’s written word gives light to the path. It enlightens understanding and the knowledge of God so that we may know God personally.

Established relationship by the lamb of God

“Here is what Adonai says: “The wise man should not boast of his wisdom, the powerful should not boast of his power, the wealthy should not boast of his wealth; instead, let the boaster boast about this: that he understands and knows me — that I am Adonai, practicing grace, justice and righteousness in the land; for in these things I take pleasure,” says Adonai.”

Jeremiah 9: 23.

“Isn’t my word like fire,” asks Adonai, “like a hammer shattering rocks?”

Jeremiah 23: 29 (CJB).

“The grass dries up, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever.”

Isaiah 40: 8 (CJB).

“For just as rain and snow fall from the sky and do not return there, but water the earth, causing it to bud and produce, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so is my word that goes out from my mouth —it will not return to me unfulfilled; but it will accomplish what I intend, and cause to succeed what I sent it to do.”

Isaiah 55: 10-11 (CJB).

Defenders of the False Worldview Blame God’s Way Being the Wrong Way.

From the early 1900, the Bolshevik rebellion in Russia blamed the legitimate Russian Government and the Monarchy for the injustice in the Russian society. The Bolshevik rebellion wanted Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, and Joseph Stalin’s Worldview. Also, for Russian people to conform to the Bolshevik Communist Worldview.   What travels first, the horse or the cart?   Typical for rebellious people, they possess a spirit of rebellion and are looking for some excuse to manifest Anarchy.

According to the Holy Jewish Scriptures, human rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and incorrigible obstinate stubbornness is a sin of idolatry.

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.”

1 Samuel 15: 23 (KJV).

Karl Marx and Lenin were of Jewish descent. They obviously had no interest in reading the five Books of Moses.

Or believing in the existence of YHWH.

Many of the Bolsheviks were Jews. So is it any wonder that the lawless rebellion and Anarchy of the Bolsheviks galvanized the German leader’s attitude and resistance to the Bolshevik’s Worldview in Germany.

The German people knew by heart that the Bolshevik’s Worldview was seriously erroneous and despicable. It was only 400 years after Martin Luther’s reformation in Europe.

There were many spiritual revivals in Germany during those 400 years leading up to the First World War.   Russian Civil War followed the Bolshevik uprising and the overthrow of the Russian Tsar. First World War claimed the lives of about 3 million Russians, among some 15 million across the world.

Compare that to the Bolshevik’s orchestrated Russian Civil War casualties. The conflict raged across Eurasia for four years; the human cost was astronomical. It claimed approximately 15 million lives and reconfigured the whole of 20th-century history.

That was before Joseph Stalin established the Soviet Union State Atheism.

“In his new book, historian Norman Naimark argues that the definition of genocide should include nations killing social classes and political groups. Naimark, the author of the controversial new book Stalin’s Genocides, argues that we need a much broader definition of genocide, including nations killing social classes and political groups.

His case in point: Stalin.

The book’s title is plural for a reason: He argues that the Soviet elimination of a social class, the kulaks (who were higher-income farmers), and the subsequent killer famine among all Ukrainian peasants – as well as the notorious 1937 order No. 00447 that called for the mass execution and exile of “socially harmful elements” as “enemies of the people” – were, in fact, genocide.

I make the argument that these matters shouldn’t be seen as discrete episodes but seen together,” said Naimark, the Robert and Florence McDonnell Professor of Eastern European Studies and a respected authority on the Soviet regime.

Norman Naimark.

“It’s a horrific case of genocide – the purposeful elimination of all or part of a social group, a political group.”   Stalin had nearly a million of his own citizens executed, beginning in the 1930s. Millions more fell victim to forced labor, deportation, famine, massacres, and detention and interrogation by Stalin’s henchmen.”……

Glow Baked Salmon

The following article on Glow Baked (Loimu Lohi) Salmon is from my Nordic Cuisine Focus website.

Why am I naming this Nordic Cuisine item Glow Baked? Does not the term Glow baked fit into the Imperialistic elite mindsets of the English and the French? As if they are the gate keepers of the International cuisines. anyone that knows anything about the French and the English arrogant Imperial mindsets in their narrow minded haute cuisines. In their own minds they have elevated to the high heavens of god and the mere mortals are on earth under the Imperial whims. It is advantageous for them financially to monopolize and grab the food industries under their control as the gate keepers. Much of the English and the French cuisines are cardio killers, because they have defined food into their own narrow minded obsessed food fetishes.

Ethnic Cuisine has nothing to do with the English or the French cuisine terminology or definitions. Therefore, we can put the Imperial elitist terminologies in the waste basket.

Glow Baked Salmon is a literal translation of the word Loimu (glow) Lohi (salmon).

Glow baked salmon

Loimulohi: glow baked salmon (loimu=glow, lohi=salmon) or glow baked salmon of the Nordic region is a fantastic menu item in Finland. It is so genuine and natural and easy way to cook salmon without the need for cooking facilities.

When preparing to cook the Loimulohi in this “Slow-Glow-Method,” the basic requirements are; a right size salmon 1-10kg, a sharp knife (relative to the fish size), a clean wooden blank, and 8 x 2inch nails per fillet, or chicken wire netting, big enough to sandwich the open fish fillets inside the mesh (approx 1m x 1m).

How to glow bake salmon

Start a reasonable size fire with sufficient firewood to last half hour (relative to the fish size), build a fire to create an adequate amount of hot glowing coals that will radiate heat. If it is a windy day, then you need to use common sense where the fire is placed, some wind protection/shelter is needed so the radiated heat will be focused on the cooking of the fish, e.g., make use of the land contours, boulder, rocks, log, etc.

Whether using the chicken wire or the wooden blank, the fish needs to be cleaned and filleted, and it may be sprinkled with salt and allowed to season for 1-2 hours in a 0-4’C cool area if so desired. The salmon fillets are then either nailed to the wooden blank or sandwiched inside the chicken wire so that the fillet stay flat, the flesh side facing the fire heat.

The distance between the fire and the salmon is critical, cooking a Loimulohi is not meant to be a quick method of cooking. This is a slow method of cooking, and the result is a fantastic golden color of the cooked salmon surface. To get the distance right, make sure the fire has sufficient coals that will continue to radiate heat for 30 min, you may add some wood to the fire, but it’s not the only source of heat. Check the temperature at where the salmon fillets are going to be placed by placing your hand there, and hold it there for about 15 seconds; you should be able to keep it there without burning your hand.

Use a natural boulder/rocks to prop the wood blank/chicken wire frame, place it almost vertical facing towards the fire, make sure it is stable and secure.

So what is so special about Loimulohi?

Firstly it is the experience of catching an excellent fresh Salmon fish caught in the wild.  Secondly, the slow cooking method of Loimulohi works well with a large Salmon filet that has a high-fat content, it caramelizes the flesh to a golden color.  Thirdly the golden caramelized salmon flesh is delicious to the taste buds.

The heat will continue to build gradually and caramelize the surface of the Loimulohi fish fillet, after about 1 hr – 1 1/2 hours.  Salmon fillet has a lot of fat, it will start to melt, so make sure you turn sides (top-down) occasionally, so the natural fat runs back onto the fillet to moisten and caramelize the flesh.

When the surface of the Loimulohi filet is a golden color and the aroma is delicious, then is the time to enjoy.  There are many combinations that you can serve the Loimulohi or glow baked salmon with, if you are camping at a lake in Lapland, then perhaps you brought some new potatoes along to your camp, if not then enjoy the delicious flavors of the Nordic salmon with some fresh greens, cucumbers, tomato and maybe a splash of olive oil and lemon juice or your favored dressing that you enjoy, with some unleavened potato flatbread (traditional potato Rieska), or some wholesome fresh rye bread.

One of the best traditional wild outdoors cooking methods

The traditional Loimulohi caught and prepared in the heart of the Nordic Nature in Finland is really a fine sample of how the food was prepared and enjoyed after it was caught hundreds of years ago, there is no pretense or facade.

Human beings contribute very little to life resources on the planet earth, not even from the basic ingredients like water, oxygen, and sunlight. The environment for life was well prepared, arranged and orchestrated, but not served on a silver platter.

To survive in the Northern hemisphere without the conveniences of the modern world is tough, natural building resources need to be discovered, found, and utilized.  Long 6-month winter does test the commitment to live under hard, cold, and sometimes adverse climate conditions.  Prevention is better than cure, health has to be secured and protected, and the bugs eliminated that persistently work against healthy physical life.

Natural food resources provide minerals, vitamins, and the entire range of nutrition for those that understand and respect the connection between food, nutrition, and good active physical healthy lifestyle.

Natural Nordic Nutrition from the Baltic Herring festival on the East Coast Satakunta.  Glow baked salmon is a traditional cooking method of wild Salmon that is enjoyed on the Finnish culture over many thousands of years. Glow baked is a unique cooking method that enables large amount of fish cooked relatively quickly  and without the need for elaborate kitchens and cooking equipment.

Glow Baked Salmon IS a Traditional Cooking Method.

Glow bake cooking method takes about 1 – 1-5 hours to cook a full size, 2-4 kg salmon filet. The excessive fat drips off, and the fish is cooked slowly at slowly increasing temperature.  Fishermen would go North to the Arctic waters and from there into the River systems of Norway and North Finland to catch wild salmon that were 20-30 size, as recently as the 70’s. back in the 60’s and the 70’s the 30 kilo salmon were caught as regular as the 20 kg salmon are caught now days on the River Teno.

Fantastic way to cook Wild salmon while on a fishing trip

Glow baking salmon is by far the best method to enjoy cooking full size salmon fillets cooked fresh while camping on the river shore. There is the open fire place, with large filet of salmon being cooked on open fire and the one hour cooking process produces aromas and visually attractive creating an appetite for all that observe it.  There is no other cooking method for wild salmon that compares with glow balked salmon.

Skill experience required

Like all cooking requires skill, it is not difficult but it needs to have sensibilities to the flesh of the fish, the fat and the heat of the fire.  The distance of the fire to the fish also needs to be correct. Most people without prior experience would place the fish too close. It should be about 100 – 75 cm distance. Far enough to hold a bare hand there for about 7-8 seconds without burning sensation.

The fire needs to be started before the fish is placed in position on a plank. There should be enough coals to keep the heat up for 15-20 minutes. The red hot coals produce steady heat that is consistent for the cooking of the flesh of the fish.

Happy New Year 2018.

Hawaii Charter Fishing

Hawaii Charter Fishing

Hawaii Charter Fishing may sound just like another too big to be a true fishing story, out of reach for the tire kickers and the small fry of the local fish and chip shop crowd.

Sometimes the hardest thing about going on vacation is the overdose of downtime. You want to find enough things to do to keep you busy, but not too much to where you feel overloaded. Chartering a fishing boat has its advantages, but on the island of Hawaii, it is a day trip that you do not want to miss. There are certain basics when chartering a boat, but since Hawaii is not just a hop, skip and jump away, you want to make your plans ahead of time while having all of your questions answered.

Hawaii Charter Fishing
Island vegetation

Hawaii charter fishing boats

First of all, you will need a boat. Hawaii has hundreds of charter boats throughout the islands, so availability will not be an issue. The companies that charter boats have certain criteria that they have to follow in order to run their business. The boat must be inspected for proper gear, maintenance, and repair history. They are also inspected for their experience level. No one wants to pay for a charter and catch a fish that the crew cannot handle.

The charter trips are typically broken up into various price categories. Prices will vary depending on where you are staying and where you want to fish. For instance, Kona has the lowest prices but the most competition for marlin fishing while Lahaina is the most expensive.

If you are concerned about the fish, do not worry. Most of the charters will succumb to whatever you want to do with your catches. If you want to take them home or if you want to cook them for dinner, it should not matter as long as you make your requests up front. Hawaii does have a deep-rooted tradition of selling Billfish and this concept offends many anglers. Today, many charters are willing to throw the Billfish back (at the customer’s request) but don’t be surprised if this is not the case.

You should also know that when you charter a boat, you are not chartering fish. A charter is to allow you to have an experience out on the water enjoying the scenery and trying to catch a fish. Fishing is a sport where there are no guarantees and there is no way of predicting where fish will be and when. If you charter a boat with the expectation of a refund for a bad catch day, you will be disappointed. There is no charter trip that will refund your money for a lack of fish on a given day.

Hawaii charter fishing and BYO catering

Some of the things that you will need when you charter a boat for the day are not what you may expect. Most boats will provide you with tackle and equipment, but that is it. You are expected to bring your own snacks and drinks. You should also invest in some Bullfrog sunscreen, which is waterproof and commonly used on boats. Another good tool essential to fishing is sunglasses. Your sunglasses should be polarized so that you can see the fish clearer than other glasses. Lastly, bring an extra towel and t-shirt because you will probably get wet.

Hawaii charter fishing and fresh tree bananas

Make sure to leave your bananas behind. Hawaii, as well as many other fishing places, has a strict policy against bananas being on board. They are thought to bring bad luck, so do not try to test this theory or your day may be extremely unpleasant.

Hawaii can be a little more difficult to plan a fishing trip on the spur of the moment because the locals usually have conflicting opinions. Try to do some research on the islands that you want to fish and then book a charter through a major company that has a trusted record.

Fresh Water Trout and Salmon

Fresh Water Trout and Salmon

Freshwater trout and salmon fishing are in many areas considered as the best trophy fish of the freshwater fishing, especially where the fish is done in water reservoirs created y damming mountain valleys with dam walls.

People have been fishing for sport for in around fifty generations now. What started as a means of survival has become a favorite pastime in North America and beyond, creating a hunger for fishing tips and aspects of fishing to be revealed in many different contexts. Learning about fishing and learning about different types of fish can be very exciting and interesting to many people.

http://nordiccuisine.fi/

Freshwater trout and salmon sport fishing

Trout is the most common freshwater fish. They are equal to any other of the sports fish and they stand at the top of the food chain in most rivers and streams where they live. Years ago, a successful angler was judged by how many of these popular fish he could catch at one time, but now the wise angler practices catch-and-release tactics so the numbers of trout will always be plentiful. Part of what makes an angler a responsible one is caring for the sport of fishing and fish populations for generations to come.

The most popular trout fish that anglers enjoy trying to lure it is known as the “brown trout”. The brown trout provide plenty of excitement for anglers and tests fishing skills. Because it often feeds on the surface, the brown trout is considered a fish designed for the angler. It is a cold-water fish that lives in lakes and streams and jumps around the most when the water temperature is just right The brown trout got its reputation from rich English gentleman who enjoyed the trout’s fight. The world record brown trout weighed around forty pounds and was taken in Arkansas in 1992.

One of the most the most glamorized fish of the trout family actually is not a trout at all. Surprisingly, scientists have recently discovered the rainbow trout is actually a smaller cousin of the Pacific Salmon. Rainbow trout are considered a peaceful fish despite their family heritage. They coexist with any other fish in the stream. While the brown trout prefer slower water and calmer pools, the rainbow trout like the more oxygen-rich fast running water. That enthusiasm makes the rainbow a favorite of the angler.

Freshwater trout and salmon fishing

There is yet another trout that is not actually a trout. The Brooke trout or “brookie” lives in the cooler streams of the north-eastern US and is related to the char. This makes it a relative of the lake trout rather than a member of the family. Because the fish is only found in wilderness areas, the Brooke trout is a special favorite with anglers. Wherever they’re found, fisherman can be sure the water is pure and the ecology unspoiled. The “brookie” is often criticized for being pretty but not necessarily smart. Although anglers praise them for their beauty, it’s well known that there are harder fish to catch. The world record for the biggest Brooke trout takes place in Canada in 1918. A fourteen-pound “brookie” was caught in the Nipigon River in Ontario, Canada.

Other trout species include the red trout, a species that enjoys hiding in bracken and branches, and the deeper-water lake trout. Current population control laws protect the lake trout, requiring anglers to release catches that measure certain sizes. The size of the lake trout indicates its potential to spawn and release fertilized eggs. With continued programs of trout population protection and responsible fishing, the trout will certainly continue to survive for generations to come.

Fishing with Live Bait

Fishing with Live Bait

Fishing with live bait can be the most attractive and natural bait that the fish are lured to by their instincts, but not all live bait use is allowed in some parts of the world, due to overfishing and loss of fish stocks. Check with your fishing authority for local rules and regulations.

There are many myths that surround using live bait instead of artificial and most of them are not true. Live bait is still used by many anglers. The one factual part of live bait, which no one can dispute, it that is often messy, and it smells terrible. If you can surmount these two factors, you will be in good shape to try live bait on your next fishing outing.

Fishing with Live Bait

Fishing with live bait for the trophy

There are some basic principles that should not be ignored when using live bait. None of the principles concerning live bait are clean or nice, but they are mandatory. You should never handle live bait when your hands are dry. Bait has a slimy layer on the outside, which is protective as well as inviting to predators, and if your hands are dry you will risk removing that layer.

If you are running short on live bait, try to save the bait that dies in your live well or in a nearby bucket. When your live bait has run out, you will still be able to use the freshly dead bait on your hook to attract fish. All you have to do is cast your line and bob it a little to give the appearance that your decoy has some life left. Be careful of the weight that you put on a line with live bait. Fish are going to spot a weight if it is too heavy and weighing down the bait. Your weight or sinker should be light enough to give the bait the appearance of free-floating in the water.

Seasonal fishing can change the perspective on live bait. For instance, the summer months can be brutal, especially in the South. You may need to adjust your thinking and practices when the summer months hit. Keeping the bait alive will be the hardest obstacle for any angler in the summer. In order to keep your bait living, you will need to change out the water regularly so that the oxygen can keep flowing through to the bait. However, you can’t just stop at changing out the water.

The temperature of the water is crucial because the water on the surface is hot and deadly for living bait. Therefore, having ice on hand to put into the live well will be the most beneficial way of keeping your live bait happy until they reach the hook. There is also a bait shortage during the summer months on things like shrimp and live croaker. You will save yourself a lot of time if you call the bait shop the night before to ensure that the bait you want is available. The shrimp are the most common bait in the summertime, but they are not as effective as you may think. When everyone is using shrimp, the fish are not as excited by them because they see them everywhere. Try using a bait fish that is not as often used in the summer months and guarantee a better chance of catching a fish.

Some other tips you should keep in mind when fishing with live bait is to never hook your live bait in the eyes. The reason is that you want the bait to see the fish approach them because they will become more excited and it will cause the fish to latch onto better. Another thing is that you should add water softener salt to the water that is holding your live bait. The salt will make the scales of your bait harder while instantaneously preserving the slimy coat that attracts predators.

Lastly, you should make sure that you know how to properly throw a casting net before trying to catch bait. People often times throw the net too hard or too soft and this results in frustration and a net that does not consistently open.

Live bait can come in handy when you are trying to have a big day out at sea. Reason and logic will tell you that a fish would be more attracted to real food as opposed to faux food. However, the live bait does increase the workload so make sure you are prepared to deal with the entire package before committing to fishing with live bait.

Learning how to fish in water

Learning how to fish in water

Learning how to fish in water takes a lot of desire, patience, and skill, of course, there are fishing charters that take the pain out of learning by trial and error.

If you are new to the sport of fishing, you need to know some of the basic rules of fishing. Like other forms of hunting, fishing involves both your environment and those around you. Be respectful of both. You can responsibly enjoy this treasured pastime in several ways.

Learning how to fish in water

Learning how to fish in water by tradition and customs

Fishing is an ancient practice. It dates back nearly 10,000 years. A number of various techniques and traditions have been used during fishing’s progression. Modern technological developments have changed the way people fish, but many of the same rules, regulations, and social norms involving fishing remain.

Always practice good stewardship of our waterways when you are fishing. Remember that these waterways were around thousands of years before you and will remain long after we are gone. You can make a conscious decision to leave the areas in which people fish in better condition than when you found it. Take care of our lakes, rivers, and other waterways so that others will enjoy these areas for years to come. Practicing certain behaviors will ensure that you are taking good care of the places where people fish.

Never litter when you are fishing. Always bring a trash bag or other receptacle to use for the collection of your trash. You can easily deposit it in a nearby trash receptacle. Dump your refuse in properly assigned dumping stations instead of tossing it in the water. You do not need to spend much time figuring out the many ways in which this hurts the environment.

As you fish, always use the correct type of bait and fishing gear. Certain areas allow for certain bait and gear. You will also encounter limits on the number, size, and kind of fish that you can keep. Become familiar with what these limits are and pay attention to them. Do not wait until you are at your fishing spot to search for what is allowed and what is not. Check with your destination before you head out on your fishing trip to see what the local regulations allow. If you plan on using a boat while fishing, research to see what kinds of watercraft are allowed where you are going to fish.

Every fishing location is different, so pay special attention to local procedures and cautions. This also applies when you decide to clean your boat after you leave the water. You do not want to spread non-native species to another body of water.

Finally, never fish where it is not permitted. There is always a reason why it is illegal. Some reasons include the protection of certain wildlife, the proper care of vegetation, and the safety of you and others who want to fish.

You should also follow a number of cautionary behaviors to ensure your safety. As with all forms of hunting, safety is first. If you will be using a boat while you fish, always wear your life jacket. Make sure that your passengers wear their life jackets, as well.

Be very careful when baiting and removing hooks. Make sure that you never fish on unauthorized waterways. Follow the posted speed limits and wake warnings that accompany the use of a boat. Bring with you all relevant safety items, such as water, flashlights, maps, and a cell phone.

Fishing continues to be a favorite pastime. 2001 saw nearly 16% of the U.S. population over the age of 16 spend 16 days fishing. You enjoy the sport of fishing, so follow the rules that allow for the continuation of fishing. Be responsible and courteous to others and your environment. Take time to discover how you can be both a better and safer angler.

Aim For Real Success

Aim For Real Success

Aim For Real Success article post is intended for anyone that is motivated to organize their education and career goals.  Frustration usually arises from situations where people feel they have no control over their life or work situation.

Consider this young executive who has forgotten to prepare his sales pitch for tomorrow. He’s scheduled to present to the ten top executives of a company about the latest luxury car that had arrived yesterday morning. It is already two hours past midnight. He was so tired. He is still wearing his office clothes. Two in the morning and only now that he remembers to study the car parts, engine, and new gadgets. Now, he wants to point the blame to his boss for having him write the monthly report when he knew very well of his scheduled sales pitch. If only he had written it down or punched a reminder on his Pocket PC.

Blame it all you want to somebody else, but the fault always lies with the person who fails to schedule and set goals and objectives.

Pitfalls in Setting Goals and Objectives

1. Where you are

Is my goal attainable where I am right now?

Know your personal circumstance and decide if a goal that you need to set is reachable. It should be attainable within the time period that you plan to construct.

2. What obstacles you have to face

Do I see a time constraint in reaching this goal? I have pending work, can I finish them in time to do this task?

After understanding your personal circumstance, identify the constraints. Make a list of them so you can attend to each item properly.

3. What strategies you can use to overcome them.

Can I make arrangements with my boss regarding my deadline? Can I set appointments? More importantly, can I delegate some of the tasks that I have just written down?

Setting goals and objectives is much like a very careful planning. A person must identify possible threats to the completion of the goal and outline strategies to counter them.

Aim For Real Success and What is Often Overlooked

1. Setting of priorities

Identify your priorities in life. Most people don’t even know what or who they want to be in the future.

Take the case of the young executive. If he voiced out to his boss that the sales pitch tomorrow may get them 7 car sales, his boss might snatch from your hand the monthly report and slam it on the desk of your co-worker.

Know your priorities and assert your priorities when needed.

2. Accept Your Fears

Most people fear to set goals. Either they are afraid of their future or they just simply made a choice to enjoy the present. Usually, the former is identified as the culprit.

Fear of setting your goals too high. Fear of making a commitment. Fear of not knowing what course to tread on.

Whatever you fear, keep in mind that by setting goals and objectives, you are, step by step, moving towards your dream.

3. Goals are a Map of your Life

Most people see goals as restrictions or obstacles to their sense of freedom.

But critics should see goals the other way around.

It is a map that you made. It shows you where you are and what roads you are treading into.

You made that map. It is yours to modify according to what priorities you have set.

4. Consult your Goals

Usually, goals are set but are forgotten during the day. They need to be regularly consulted to remind yourself that they need to be accomplished. Goals will give you an idea what road to take or when it is the best time to stop.
